Parts Specialist

Order parts from various vendors based on internal requests or inventory levels.
Verify and ensure accuracy of purchase orders, including pricing and quantity.
Answer inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and order status.
Stock parts in designated inventory locations, maintaining organization and accessibility.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed to prevent shortages.
Assist with physical inventories as needed.
Update computerized inventory records to reflect current stock levels.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
Lift and transport parts to designated storage areas, utilizing proper lifting techniques.
Walk through warehouse or storage areas to locate and retrieve parts as needed.
Receive incoming parts shipments, inspecting for damages or discrepancies.
Follow up on outstanding orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
Collaborate with other team members to optimize inventory management processes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts storage areas.
Comply with safety regulations and guidelines when handling and storing parts.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in parts ordering or inventory management preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as walking and standing for extended periods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory management systems.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
